"When Jesus says, 'Come to me,' he doesn't say come to a religion, come to a
system, or come to a certain doctrine. This is a very personal invitation to a
God, an invitation to a Savior." –Max Lucado, The Inspirational Study Bible
THE WAY
The entire significance of Christianity is based not on a foundation of rules, but
on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus came and died for people,
not for a system. He invites you into an individual one-on-one kinship with Him,
not into legalities. You are a person that Jesus longs to hang out with and longs
to reach. He beckons you into His heart. He seeks you, not performance, not
status, not possessions, and not methodology. Just you. Today, remind yourself
that you don't need to qualify to be a Christian, you just need to come to Jesus.

THE WORD
"I will plant them and not pluck them up. Then I will give them a heart to know Me,
that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they
shall return to Me with their whole heart." –Jeremiah 24:6-7
